In reply to Jason Rivera. This was a fantastic write-up. What was the more appealing company you mentioned below? I would be very keen to form a group of activist value investors (this has been a long-term goal of mine!), so I'm interested to hear about appropriate nano-cap opportunities. I'm also looking forward to your write-up on PARF, although it is so closely held and seasonal that it's difficult to acquire a meaningful position.

In reply to consolazio. I agree. Shortly after I finished up research on this company I had actually planned to get a group of value investors together to try and become activist but ended up finding a much better and less time consuming opportunity.

Companies like this scare me: management owns a majority stake and is enriching themselves through excessive salaries and shareholder dilution rather than growing value per share. Unless management changes their ethical behavior, the undervaluation will persist.
